Data deletion
Last updated 2 October 2026Version 1.0
This page explains how to ask Henad to delete your data, including data that came from Instagram, and how to disconnect Instagram from Henad.
What deletion covers
You can ask us to delete:
- your Henad account;
- a workspace and all of its content;
- the Instagram data that a connected brand account brought into Henad: posts, post insights, daily account figures, audience figures, and the connection token;
- the public Instagram readings Henad holds about an account and read on a brand's behalf: followers, biography, website, and the counts on recent posts.
See the Privacy Policy for everything Henad processes, and the Instagram and Meta section for the Instagram data in detail.
How to request deletion
Henad has no self-service deletion button. Send an email to henad.work@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. In the email, tell us:
- who you are: the email address of your Henad account, or your Instagram username;
- what you want us to delete.
If the data sits in a brand's workspace, that brand is the controller and decides the request. We pass your request to the brand and tell you we have done so.
Disconnecting Instagram
In Henad, a workspace owner can open Company → Integrations → Instagram and choose Disconnect. Henad then stops reading the account and removes the stored token. Posts and readings already taken stay in the workspace until you ask us to delete them.
To remove Henad's access on Meta's side:
- On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find Henad and choose Remove.
- On Instagram, go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, find Henad and choose Remove.
What happens next
- We confirm that we received your request.
- We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act.
- We delete the data within one month. If the request is complex, we may extend this by two more months. If we do, we tell you within the first month and say why.
- We confirm in writing when the deletion is complete.
Backups are overwritten on their own schedule. Deleted data can stay in a backup until that cycle ends, and it is not restored into Henad in the meantime.
